This represents the finest Museum quality reproduction available today. Patterned after originals with special attention to detail and fabric selection.
This kit is hand sewn, using fabrics found during the Colonial Period, Rev War through War 1812 time periods. The outer body is a \"homespun\" striped wool/cotton material , inner lined in white linen. Includes three pockets of checked linen fabric for storage, and then has a linen sleeve to hold nippers(scissors) in place when not used. Bound with black linen. Measures approximately 4\" wide by 12\" in length. Closes with a black cotton twill tape.

- Original Bone & MOP Buttons with one reproduction Pewter Button- Line Thread wrapped on piece of leather- Beeswax for waxing linen thread- Nippers (scissors) w/leather piece to protect blades- Brass Loop Straight Pins, regular straight pins & Steel Needles- Patch material, wool & linen
