Museum Quality Victorian Thimble Opens Up To Hold Thread Needle MUST SEE:
$26.00
This is an exceptionally rare Victorian thimble. It is made of wood, looks like walnut. It is in the shape of a sewing basket. The really neat thing about this, is that it actually unscrews and opens up. It would hold thread & needles etc...It is beautifully handcrafted and in primo condition. What they did in the Victorian times before thimbles that we know of today is: push the needle, (which was usually going through some pretty thick material back then,) through by pushing up against this wooden object , known as a thimble. it is aprox just under 3 inches in height. There is no damage, no cracks, repairs etc.......It is stunning!Free S&H In USA INTERNATIONAL BUYER PAYS 10.00
