I have been collecting original comic art and comic strip art for over 15 years now. Mylar bags are the best, safest and most archival means to store paper documents and art. Although regular original art mylars are easy to come by, finding a solution to safely storing strip art had proven challenging. About 8 years ago I had customs bags made for me and a friend. Over the years they were the perfect solution. They are sturdy, archival, clean, clear and easy for storage and preservation of original comic strip artwork. . I put 2 pieces of art into each bag facing out so i can see them easily. You can see this in the photo above. I also stack my art flat and these bags allow them to stored like this safely. My collection out grew the initial 250 bags I had made so I decided to have more bags made. A lot of friends and fellow collectors commented on the bags and wanted some of their own. When I decided to get bags made again, I ordered more than I needed. I have sold and gifted many of these bags already but I have a few hundred more I can sell and so I am offering them to the you on . These bags are not cheap and are meant for serious collectors who want to protect and store the art they have. These are high quality, 4mL archival Mylar type material. These bags are 18 inches by 8 inches and open on the top. The other 3 sides are sealed. I chose this size of bag because it fits almost all comic strip art dailies. There are rare exceptions and for this I had another batch of even bigger bags made. If you are interested in these, you will have to inquire as I only had a limited number of those made.Please Note! This sale is for 10 bags only. If you want the 25 bag option, please see my other listing.Please note, the art that is pictured is NOT included with the bags. Only the empty, new, clean bags are for sale.
I live in Canada and due to the cost of shipping, it is unreasonable to sell only a bag or two at a time. Bags will be sold in lots of 10 or 25. The price for a lot of 10 bags is $50 plus $40 shipping. The price of 25 bags will be $125 plus $40 shipping. I will ship up to 200 bags for the $40 shipping costs. Shipping anywhere in North America will be $40 because of the large size of the package and the requirement to have tracking with paypal. Shipping can be combined. Insurance up to $100 is included. To Europe, shipping will be $75. I am sorry, that is what Canada Post charges, I make no money and often lose a bit on shipping. I package well. To make things complicated, won\'t let me do US and International shipping separately since I am from Canada and the US is technically international. So, the shipping shows up as $40 and $75 option for everyone. If you are in the North America, pick the $40 option and if you are anywhere else in the world, pick the $75 option.

The Fine PrintShipping will be about $40 for US and Canadian destinations. I ship internationally but this will cost more, likely $75. Your insurance will be with Canada Post and not with me.I dislike using paypal but I don\'t think gives me a choice there so it is accepted. Local pick-up in the Toronto area is also available.
