Original carte de visite of a little girl with an incredible deformity.
This was a real physical deformity and not a fake. Her name was Myrtle Corbin. Later cabinet card photos of Myrtle (1880s, 1890s) come onto the market occasionally,
but 1870s CDVs are much more scarce.
She was a little girl born with a second pelvis and legs growing from her abdomen.
She made her living in sideshows, and eventually got married, and had children.
