Gilt page tops and rough cut page edge and bottoms. Truly a deluxe set! All of the covers look excellent - there are only 3 scratches on the set, the pictures of the front and back covers are in the \"worse\" condition! Some spine ends lightly worn, tips all look good. Covers and text blocks very secure.Internally-The pages are all generally good and clean with minimal spotting. 1small chipped edge I repaired with doc tape. There might be a few more small rips, with the rough cut edges, it is really hard to flip through the books. -NEAR FINEfor ageA MUST HAVE FOR ANY COLLECTOR-makes a great gift too!
