This listing is for a lot ofSIX NATIVE AMERICANSEED BEAD PIECES, 4 NECKLACES AND 2 \"TASSLES\".These pieces areVintage from the 1980\'s; handmade by an unnamed Yurok Artisan. The Yurok are from theExtreme Northern California Coastal Region. The pieces are unworn and in like condition. Allof theNecklaces areOne Piece, Single Strand of varying lengths; the \"Tassels\" match and look to be either a pair of Earringsthat need\"hooks\" or possibly Tassels to add to a Necklace. All of the Beads are Glass, most being the tiny Seed/Headband Beads; the longer, very colorful Necklaces have different shaped small beads. This is what you will receive in thisEXCELLENT Lot: 1. Single Strand, Multi-Colored Seed Bead Necklace with Tassel. Threaded with Black Twine, this 25 1/2\" Necklace alternates colorful rowsofGlass Seed Beads. Except at the top where knotted, the \"pattern\" alternates groupings of 5 single-colored beads. Bead colors are Turquoise Blue; Dark Blue; Red; Yellow; Black; Brown and White.It appears thata few \"Orange\" Beads are mixed inwith thevarious rowsof \"Red\" Beads. This colorful Necklace has a pretty, 3\" \"Tassel\"hanging at the bottom. It is well-made and looped onthe Necklace. The loop is made of theTurquoiseBlue Beads; the \"Cylinder\" area is a lovely pattern of Dark Red; Turquoise Blue; Black and Yellow. There are 7beaded strands, approx. 1 3/4\" long, all appearing to have the same Beaded pattern--Turquoise Blue(20); Brown(2); Red(2); Black(2) Blue(2); White(2) and Yellow(3 thatlook a bit like aflower). 2. Single Strand,Various Blues, Blackw/White Oblong Beads. This simple, yet lovely Necklace is 30 1/2\" and threaded with White Thread. The pattern of this Necklace uses Black, DarkBlue,and Turquoise Blue Seed Beads, and slim, 1/2\" long White Glass Tube Beads. The pattern from the top, going counterclockwise, is 10 Black Seed Beads; 3 Blue Seed Beads; 2 Turquoise Blue Beads; 1 WhiteTube Bead; 2 Turquoise Blue Seed Beads; 3 Blue SeedBeads; 10 Black Seed Beads...the pattern continues around the Necklace. 3. & 4. TwoMulti-Colored, Single Strand, 43 1/2\"Necklaceswith various sized and shaped Glass Beads. These Necklaces are similar being the same length with the same Beads used.The Necklace is\"Freestyle\" with no apparent \"pattern\" to the Beadwork.The Necklaces are strung using Black and Yellow Thread, knotted at the top. The Necklaces are long enoughto be doubled if you have a small neck. The Beads are all relatively small with the largest Bead being a 3mm, multi-coloredCrow Bead. The Necklaces are strung with a variety of colorful Beads including Seed Beads; Pony Beads; Tiny and Small Crow Beads;1-2mm Round Beads; Disks; 1c Tube Beads; .5c Cylinders andlikely a few others in the mix. Colors and patterns range from solid; clear; iridescent and striped--colors run the spectrum. We looked carefully for a pattern, but as said, it is a Freestyle piece that works--and there aretwo of them! 5. & 6. One Pair of Tassels. These look to be a pair of unfinished Earrings, needing just the metalhardware fastened through the loops. They may also beused as Charms, Medallions or Accessories--the loops are a bit small, which is why we thought of Earrings. Regardless, these well-madeTassels are a bit over 2\" long being looped at the top and tightly strung with White twine. The Tassels are made fromtiny, iridescent RedPony Beads; White Seed Beads and .5c Iridescent Gold Tube Beads. All Beads are glass.There are 11strands on each Tassel;there is a uniform pattern with 7 White Seed Beads at the end of each strand.
