This would make a wonderful gift for someone special.Please read the following carefully:Like all vintage items, at least some very light age related wear is to be expected. No scratches visible to the naked eye on front or back. Only a few very fine scratches seen under high magnification (45X) The safety catch and hinge are tightly secured and work well. The pin is straight. I would rate this as \"A\" quality vintage.Note: I bought this brooch from a jeweler who had given this piece a professional polish before listing it for sale so both sides are very shiny. However, my own jeweler has verified it as a genuine Georg Jensen so don\'t let the shine fool you. If you are a Jensen fan who likes patina on their pieces, all you need to do is leave this piece in a steamy bathroom for a couple of weeks or so and you will get the patina.This item is from a smoke free home.
