i am listing many of my pewter Christmas ornaments which i\'ve never used - some are actually still in their cellophane packets although many were displayed on a tree in the german shops in rothenburg & diessen (wilhelm schweizer\'s headquarters) where the vast majority of them were bought. people marvel at them as they\'re so unusual and artistic. not all of the schweizer pieces i\'m listing have \"wilhelm schweizer\" on them. if they aren\'t schweizer, i mark them as such. the ornaments are a \"cottage industry\" in germany - local people paint them and when you\'re going through all the possible variations while in the shops, you can certainly see the difference in the talent of the artists. i was extremely particular - passing on an ornament if its painting or even its colors weren\'t the best.
