These earrings are new and unworn, in their original box with the old tag still adhered to the underside. I took them off of the box insert only long enough to lightly polish, photograph and measure them.
Each earring face measures just under approximately 1/2 of an inch, or about 12 millimeters, high, by just over approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 5 millimeters wide at their widest point, and about 1/16 of an inch thick. (I have included a US Dime in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The clutch of each earring is stamped, \"925 DF\". The earrings themselves were doubtless to small to stamp. The old original tag on the bottom of the box reads, \"P. Lomakema\", and had a price of $22.00! Combined weight is approximately 1.3 grams. These are new earrings, never sold or worn, but vintage in that they were purchased years ago and stored rather than worn. The box and insert may have light scratches and some soiling from long storage. I have very carefully polished these, but there may still be areas of missed tarnish, as I was being very careful not to remove the antiquing or do any other damage. These are handcrafted and will not be perfectly symmetrical nor machine-perfect in any other sense. Please try to overlook the dark reflections of the black camera lens in the photos. A very lovely, beautifully handmade, little pair of vintage Sterling Hopi earrings, by Palmer Lomakema. Strong design in a comfortable size. I do my best to give honest and accurate descriptions of every item I sell, but I am no expert. So please, please, look at all of the photos and read descriptions closely before you offer. Please email me for any clarifications you need prior to sale\'s end. Please be aware that all weights and measurements are approximate! I am using an inexpensive scale and a ruler.We go to great lengths to provide copious measurements, a coin in the photos for scale, etc. It behooves the buyer to do us the courtesy of using these tools. Unless otherwise noted, everything we sell is vintage, antique, used, secondhand, and will have commensurate wear.

Shipping: We have decided to change our shipping policy, and no longer include insurance on the less expensive items. (Simply put, if the shipping cost listed is less than $4.30, no insurance is included.) says we have to include it, and we were following that mandate, but other sellers are not. Our buyers have been voting on the issue by leaving us low star ratings on shipping cost, which we simply cannot afford. So, now the shipping cost you see will include delivery confirmation only, no insurance. We just don\'t know what else to do. We encourage you to add insurance, but will make it optional. Let us know if you\'d like to add insurance before you pay, so we may add the cost to your invoice. The USPS charges anywhere from $2.10 and up, depending on the amount insured. When offered, free shipping applies within the US only.
