OUTSTANDING CHEESE/PANTRY BOX ORIGINAL BLUE, BUTTONHOLE BANDS, EARLY 19TH today we have a REAL NICE LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY CHEESE/PANTRY/BUTTER BOX IN UNTOUCHED COBALT BLUE PAINT DECORATION WITH INTERLOCKING \"BUTTON\"HOLE WOVEN BANDS! Original untouched Cobalt Blue paint is first and only coat and is in wonderful dry and crusty condition with age appropriate wear! Wonderful interlocking \"buttonhole\" bands on the body of the box and single tapered finger on the lid of box. Hand cut iron tacks secure the lid finger, and wooden pegs secure lid band to top of box. NOTE: one iron nail is missing from the lid finger, very minor . Color is Vibrant and wonderful! This example and the Salmon painted example came from the same collection. Both are truly outstanding boxes and look great stacked.Size: 13\" diameter X Don\'t miss this opportunity to add to any fine collection of Americana or Folk Art !
