Being offered is a nice old antique Maori wooden war club. This club measures 13 3/4\" in total length with the body of the club measuring 4 3/4\" at its widest. It is hand crafted of wood and shows a lot of age. My guess is that it is 19th to early 20th century. Given the size I wonder if it was made for a child. I imagine in the Maori culture it is never too early to receive your first club to practice with. The wood has some scuffs and a couple of age lines and there is an old sticker mark on one side that should clean up if desired. A simple yet elegant club and rare to find one of this size probably made for a child. Please e-mail with any questions.
