Being offered is a nice old antique knife from the Mindanao region of the Philippines. Possibly Tboli. This knife measures 14\" when measured in its scabbard. The knife handle is wood with an unusual almost animal foot shape with simple metal ferrule. The blade with unique shape. The scabbard is highly decorated with beads, dyed cotton balls, and nicely woven rattan with horse or goat hair added. Has iron staples at the bottom of the scabbard. Circa mid 20th century.
