Being offered is a nice old antique war club from Rennel Island Papua New Gunea region. This old club measures slightly over 34\" and is carved from a heavy wood that has developed a nice chocolate brown patina. There is a lighter coloration at the very bottom that probably had some type of fiber wrap that is no longer present. The club head has three chipped areas that happened long ago given how the exposed wood has developed a patina of its own. There is carved stippling around the head. Has a good weight and shape.
