This is an excellent find of a rare antique wood coffeegrinder that was produced in Germany about 95 years ago by\"Leinbrock.\" It has a terrific, deco, aged look to it and one of the oldest I\'ve ever seen. The case is made entirely of oak wood with a thin brass hopper and a fancy metal crank handle on the very top. There is an oakknob on the top of the crank and a wooden pull knob on the sliding groundsdrawer. The \"Leinbrock\'s Ideal\" name appears on an intact embossed metal label in front. The grinder is intact andworks too. I\'ve looked it over fairly well and note some minor wear to the brass metal top but mostly a great patina. There is some wear to the case but since it\'s nearly 100 years old, it is understandable and not detracting...I doubt if anything could. It is avery impressive wooden grinder and equally so in size for any antique or retrokitchen measuring about 10 1/2\" high to the top of the handle, about 6\"deep to the tip of the pull knob in front, and about 5 1/2\" wide.
