Many of the Estate Sales I attend are in themost Magnificent Homes which belonged to extremely wealthy, successful people.It is absolutely amazing to me how many beautiful things they had that werenever used. Possibly they were impulse purchases or more likely, gifts thatwere never or rarely used.
ThisEnchanting Pre-Owned NordstromHoliday 2004 Glass Snow Globe is another wonderful find in great condition.
It stands about 4 ½” tall and has a circumferenceof about 12 ½”. The Diameter of its attached Black Wood Base is about 3 ½”measured at its underside.
It features an Exquisitely detailed youngMaiden with Wings perched upon the back of a Graceful Swan. The attention tothe many details we see here is absolutely amazing! In the last picture, youcan geta sense of how pretty it looks when the Globe is given a little shakeand it fills up with all of its beautiful glistening snow.
The label at the Underside names it as SnowE. Blossom – Gifts of Love and Beauty and that it was manufactured Exclusivelyfor Nordstrom.
I photographed it both on a dark as well as alight background to try to convey how lovely it is.
The Globe itself is in just gorgeouscondition. The only condition issue to point out here is that the label at theunderside has a kind of darkish area. I don\'t know if it was meant to look that way or if it is some sort of stain. Otherwise, the condition is simplymarvelous. What a wonderful addition to your collection or for that of someonevery special in your life.
