For sale extremely rareCampagnolo C-Record 1984 Deltaprototype. This was the firstmodel appeared of the famous C-Record groupset. Unfortunately these brakes didn\'t brake so Campagnolo retired them and replaced them with Campagnolo Cobalto brake calipers. This is why they are so rare.Compared to the later version, the prototype have different detailes:
- smaller body- pantographed Campagnolo shield logo instead of the serigraphed one- mechanical parts are different as the closing system and the cable tensioning system.- smaller pads
This may very well be the rarest bicycle part in the last 40 years! According to this article Campy Only, there are only three of these in existence. Campagnolo owns one, Richard Sachs owns another, and another guy appears to be the 3rd. Here is a 4th, in NEW OLD STOCK CONDITION.These are a true museum piece, and would be at equally at home in the Smithsonian, Bicycle Museum of America, on your show bike, or locked away in a safe as an investment.A piece of art for real collectors!!
