Offered for saleis an adorable and highly collectible vintage George Lefton handpainted Bluebird egg cup, circa 1950’s. Thiswonderful little bird measures approximately 3” high to the top of its head andapproximately 1⅝” across the base. Eggcup is in excellent if not near mint condition with no chips, cracks, paintloss or signs of use. Piece is markedwith the geo. Z. Lefton signature along with 7174 and Japan. Eggcup is pictured in the Collector’sEncyclopedia of Lefton ChinaBook III (copyright 1999) by Loretta DeLozier on page 35. This eggcup is an outstanding example andwill be a fabulous addition to any collection.Please see detailed photos as they are a major part of thedescription.
