Raw, heavily worked abstract painting with deeply grooved and sculpted impasto. Surface has a very jagged look, which corresponds to the jagged angularity of the graphic imagery.
Overall glossy surface adds a vibrant intensity to this work.
- Oil and enamel painting on canvas board. - Initialed/Signed and dated at lower right.- Original gilded Modernist frame.- Excellent vintage condition. Frame has some surface wear (not distracting from work).- Measures 23.75\" x 19.75\" in thin frame. Painting is 20\" x 16\".
