Details: A very nice Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette in the form of a book. Gilded interior with floral pierced grille. Engraved decoration with realistic spine.

Hallmarks / date / Maker: Hallmarked English sterling silver with hallmarks for Birmingham 1846 maker Nathaniel Mills

Condition: Very good condition. No splits or repairs. Unworn engraving. Good unworn gilding. Both hinges good and tight. Shuts very well without bounce. One corner on the reverse has a tiny ding but this is extremely minor. A really good example.

Monogram: Initials to the cartouche as shown
