National Brass and Iron victorian vanity tabletop mirror 120yrs old:

Made in the usa from the national brass and iron works company a beautiful antique brass mirror from the late 1800s. It is marked NB & IW on the bottom left and \"Signed the letter \"A\". Usually in the bottom right corner is a number this one here actually has the letter \"A\" engraved into it. Im not an expert at all means so if you are not a serious collector of this item im just going by what research i have found. I do not know how to grade this item but i can say it has a broken mirror with markings on the back side of the glass as seen in the last picture. A piece of tape has been placed on the back side of the mirror to hold the piece of glass that was chipped off. Also on the back side two out of the four of the brackets that hold the mirror in place are missing. as seen in the pictures. The color of the darker areas of the brass has a nice deep red color to it almost like rose gold or deep red copper color its beautiful. It has a few blueish spots on it as seen in the picture just from its age. I did not clean or polish this item i am selling it as the same condition i received it in. I would like to add that this item is located in johnstown pa. The same state where the National brass and iron company that made this item was located. There is a very good chance this item as never left the state and has survived the many great floods of johnstown pa. A great find. The size of the mirror is 14 1/2 inches tall and 12 inches wide and weights 5 pounds of solid antique usa brass. The pictures were taken under a very bright light to show the color. This has not been repainted. All original.
