This listingis fora VINTAGE 1990\'S-ERA, HANDMADE 27 3/4\" SINGLE-STRAND, DENTALIA SHELL, CLEAR, RED AND BLACK ROUND GLASS BEAD WITH TINY BEAD AND SHELL ACCENT NECKLACE, UNWORN.This Necklace wasmade by an Un-named Native American, Yurok Artisan--The Yurok are Native to the Extreme Northern California Coastal Region.Lightweight, theNecklace weighs 1.2oz/34g; the 27 3/4\" Necklace has a 12 1/2\" drop. One Piece, strungusingLight ColoredTwine--the knotted areas are a bit discolored from age, the Necklace does have a Silver-tone Lobster Clasp Closure with tiny Glass Beads at the Neck.The Necklace is made from ascending-sized tiny Glass Beads at the Neck with a fairly basic pattern of 6mm Round Glass Clear and translucent Ruby Red Beads and .5cm Round Glass Solid Black Beads; Dentalia Shells that are similar is size and shape except at the very bottom of the Necklace--the Dentalia are approx. 1 1/2\" long with some being a bit longer, a couple being a bit shorter. The bottom of the Necklace is 2 small Dentalia shells, approx. 3/4\" and curved with tiny 2mm Round Glass Translucent Purple Glass Beads on either side of 2 tiny, 1/2\" Sea Snail Shells that are attached. Photo #3 provided a close-up of the Shells--they are not large, they are tiny--the photo gives you a good look at the shape and color of these cute little adornments. There are 2 Ruby Red Faceted Glass Beads, 6mm, strung at the bottom of the Necklace above the tiny Dentalia. Going back to the top of the Necklace, the neck area is a 2 1/2\" strand of Beads strung on either side of the Silver-tone catches. All Beads are Glass with the pattern being 1, 1mm Black Pony Bead; 3, 2mm Translucent Purple Round Beads, 1, 3mm, and 1, 4mm, Translucent Faceted Bead for a total of 7 Beads on either side of the Neck Clasp. From the larger Faceted Bead, the Pattern the Strand Pattern is the same to the bottom--1 Clear, 1 Red, 1 Black Bead, 1 Dentalia Shell, 5 down on each side until the smaller 1\" Dentalia Shell, Facelted Ruby Red Bead, Tiny Dentalia Shell, 2 Tiny Beads and the tiny Double Snail Shell.
