Nice old Pacific Northwest tourism totem of a bird.
From a living Estate of a very nice elderly Washington state collector of many eclectic things, mostly regionally from the Pacific Northwest such as baskets, canoe models, and totems.She cannot recall when she bought this exact piece but believes she had it in the 60s and that it was old when she got it.I cannot confirm a date.No signature or markings.
It is carved from one piece of wood, possibly cedar.There is some wear to the paint, scuffs, rubbings, ect.. and many tool marks.It was stored out doors for some time but overall the wear just adds to the look of the piece.
