This coin silver squash blossom necklace was purchased by my parents in the early 1970s at sale. They loved going to Native American jewelry sales, and left me many pieces that I do not wear. The beads are all fashioned out of mercury head dimes. I cannot tell if they are handmade or machine made, I will let you judge. The necklace contains six genuine silver dollars which you can see in the photos. I can\'t tell you when the necklace was made, but it was prior to 1972. The necklace is 26 inches long and weighs nearly 500 grams.
