Newest Expiration!\"NATURAL\" MOISTURIZING GREASEWOOD CREAM
May help relieve discomfort associated with dry cracking skin, skin rash, Eczema, Psoriasis and Athletes foot. The Greasewood or Chaparral plant gives a pure earthy aroma to this natural cream, just like the wonderful smell it makes after it rains in the desert. The special healing qualities of this prolific desert plant are well known and have been utilized by many Native People\'s. Formulated as a cream, it is especially good for treating very dry or cracking skin. To complement the medicinal qualities of the Chaparral plant we add Kukui nut oil, Avocado oil and African Shea nut butter, all of which are purported to be beneficial for treating Eczema and Psoriasis. This cream leaves no unpleasant smell on the skin and has excellent moisturizing properties. Instead of using chemical based additives to combine oil and water this cream is made using natural thickeners like Beeswax, Coconut, Jojoba ester, palm kernel oil and Aloe Vera oil. It is emollient, healing for the skin and retains medicinal properties from the herbs.
Directions: Use as often as necessary for relief of itchy, flaking dry skin. Apply directly too affected areas. It is not necessary to apply a lot at one time. For dry cracking skin, especially the feet or hands rub in for at least a minute. The more you work it in the better for the over-all healing of the area. For bad cases of cracking feet or athletes foot apply more liberally and put socks on afterward. This will allow the area to retain the moisturizing effects of the salve for as long as possible. For Eczema use several times daily until symptoms have alleviated. For Psoriasis use to relieve discomfort from itching and dryness. . Customer Testimonials are for all Greasewood products: I also developed a rash on my forehead while visiting Indianapolis, Indiana. I thought I would wait until I returned home to Texas to make an appointment with a dermatologist. My sister & I were visiting the Eiteljorg Museum of western art and saw a display for Medicine of the People. I bought a small tin of the Greasewood Ointment and within 3 days, the rash was gone. I have had cracking and drying to the point of bleeding on my hands for well over a year, have been to dermatologists and have tried all of their creams and got no relief. I saw the greaswood ointment and tried it and within 24 hours my hands were drastically improved I just ordered more thanks. Hello there from France!
I am so glad to have found an Internet site for your products... While visiting Monument Valley last year I found your greasewood ointment. I have used it ever since for my psoriasis and it has been a huge help! My daughter has had extremely dry, flaky skin on her face and we have been trying EVERYTHING for the last month to get rid of it...on a trip to Sedona, we tried a sample of the Geasewood Ointment and to our amazement the dry skin was healed that night and the unknown scaly skin has disappeared. I didn\'t realize just how effective the ointment would be~I\'m so glad I was able to buy a tin of it on line! Thank you very much for your beautiful products; I\'ve been using the Greasewood cream on my face for few years and I really enjoy it ( it\'s so good against the dry weather in LA). I\'m french and I \'m happy to have found a natural cream that is better than some expensive creams...As well, when my baby was born and had his first diaper rash I immediately felt good about using the cream on his butt and it worked overnight! Merci , Our skin are well hydrated and smooth because of your high quality products and the love that you put into it. I have had an awful sunburn-like rash that appears sporadically. It feels as though you are being burned from the inside out. It only occurs on my face, neck and chest. I\'ve been to my doctor, a dermatologist who did a biopsy and been to the emergency room several times only to be told, \"they have NO idea what it is.\" The dermatologist gave me two expensive creams, one for my face and one for my chin down and after I put them on I look I\'ve been dipped in a disgusting vat of Vaseline. It\'s extremely painful and itches BADLY. I usually scratch my face and neck so badly in my sleep that I end up with bloody scratches and scabs. I was at Montezuma\'s Castle NM and saw your tins. I picked up the one with greasewood and thought \"it\'s cheaper than a visit to the ER.\" Turns out that shortly after that visit I started to have another \"episode/attack.\" I put it on and WAS SHOCKED! It worked better and faster than the prescription medicine. I also didn\'t look like a greasy monster! lol This is the BEST help I\'ve gotten. You have a customer for life. We visited the grand canyon and bought this salve for my husband. He has been fighting ecsema for years and with your salve it is getting easier for him to tolerate it. The difference between a cream and a Salve: People are always asking what is the difference between a salve and a cream or which one works better or lasts longer or which one is best for me. Well it is simple but it can be complicated if you want it to be. The most simple explanation is that a salve is a salve, a cream is a cream and a massage oil is just that a massage oil. The more complicated definition can go on for a long time and the truth is that each of us will find our own reason why we like one type product of over another. I will try to explain. A salve has a higher ratio of beeswax than a cream and also has a higher concentration of the actual infusion of the herbal element. The salve takes longer than the cream to soak in but may be more effective for medicinal purposes. This is not always the case though. Given the application and a particular persons need the cream might be a wiser choice. For instance if one\'s hands are the issue and a salve with all its wax seems somehow too thick to rub in easily or takes to long too penetrate than you will find the nurturing absorptive properties of the cream very appealing. Medicine of The People

In 1995 my partner Leonard Marcus and I started a company called Dine Be Azee (Medicine of the People), using traditional knowledge of Plants that was given to me by my father, Sam Boone. My memories of my dad selling herbs on the Navajo Reservation and of his belief that “in order to heal himself he had to help his people” were the inspiration for our company Medicine and products.

For many years we have traveled to Powwows, Conferences and Native American events, selling herbs for medicinal and ceremonial use. We have crafted herbal salves and made creams, massage oils and tinctures from native plants we have gathered.

It is against FEDERAL LAW to advertise items are made by American Indians if they are not. These items are made by American Indians Navajo
