NAVAJO HANDMADE STERLING SILVER MOSAIC INLAY NATIVE AMERICAN MAN AND HORSE BELT BUCKLE by RICHARD TSOSIE
Multiple award winner Richard Tsosie is from the Wide Ruins area of the Navajo Reservation and currently resides in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Richard and his brother Boyd, also a well-known jeweler, were taught by Kenneth Begay and first gained national attention when they were featured in a 1979 Arizona Highways Jewelry Collectors edition.Richard\'s work has been exhibited in galleries and museum across the nation and at Indian Market, Santa Fe, NM since 1978.
This spectacular belt buckle was handcrafted in solid sterling silver, featuring a textured image of a Native American man and his horse. A row of multi-stone mosaic inlay on top and a polished frame.
Measures 3\" long and 2-1/4\" wide. It will accommodate a 1-1/2\" wide belt.
In excellent condition.The piece is signed by Richard Tsosie.
