NAVAJO MINIATURE TEA POT

This miniature Navajo tea pot is vintage, and Native American handmade, with an estimated age of 15 to 25 years old. It is made by the well-known Navajo silversmith, Elizabeth M. Whitman, and is signed with her initials, \"EMW\". It is well-made, with a working, removable lid, and a moveable handle. It is made of sterling silver, (.925) and is stamped, \"Sterling\" on the bottom. It has a round piece of green-blue turquoise set into the lid, in a tiny sawtooth bezel setting. This mini tea pot also features traditional Navajo stamping around the center. The symbols stamped on the pot include straight lines for rain, and small round sun symbols, which can be interpreted to mean that \"the sun will always come out, even if there is rain\". Classic and collectible ~ true Native art!! All ofmy items are from a clean, pet-free, smoke-free Environment.
