Here for your consideration is this nice itemIt is an outstanding, large and Very well made Vintage Native American Indian Navajo Weaving Loom Woman & Baby Figure. She is depicted as a Navajo Weaver operating her loom with her baby at her side.
This sweet lady is using a large wooden (miniature replica) loom with a rug in progress! She is beautifully handmade and detailed with iconic hair in typical Navajo style and tiny earrings and a necklace. She wears dark green velvet blouse/top and a matching skirt with gold trim around it as it flairs around her. She has little piles of wool on her right and baby on her left. The sweet baby and papoose really sets this doll & diorama apart. Mama sits on a cloth covered base lined with a real sheep skin rug and is stuffed with long, soft wool .The kneeling mother weaver figure is about 7\" tall, and the baby in papoose is about 3-1/2\" long. This Navajo weaver figure and loom are in excellent condition. Measurement of this fabulous and collectible rug making diorama are approximately 17\" H x 13-1/2\" W x 7-1/8\"
