This is a Rare 19thC Victorian Beadwork Needlework Art Pair Signed By Maker Elise Calabert. The beadwork is truly amazing….. a young girl is outside watering her potted flowers accompanied by her dog and a shepherdess is with two of her grazing sheep in a pastoral setting with buildings in the background. Each beadwork needlework picture art is signed with half of her name ELISE/CALABERT. Both beadwork pictures were framed a long time ago and the frames are identical although one has oxidized more than the other. One picture is missing two beads and the other is missing seven. All the beads are secure. Each picture is small measuring only 4 1/2 inch in diameter and the beads are exceedingly tiny. This is a rare find particularly since the beadwork is signed.
