For your consideration is this absolutely incredible vintage extra large signed double mudhead kachinas by Nelson Yazzie. After much research we believe that the snake in the mudhead kachina is a bullsnake as Mr. Yazzie was a member of the Bitter Water Clan from the Navajo Tribe and the bullsnake was considered harmless and respected as it could represent rain and lightning when it moves around. The other mudhead kachina is a drummer kachina. They stand quite tall at approx. 21 1/2\" overall and the snake kachina @ 19 3/4\" and the drummer is 18 1/2\" tall. Approx. 14\" overall width. Great vintage condition with no major defects that can be detected whatsoever. It has been kept clean and protected. So much detail and work in this incredible colorful piece of art! Purchased from an estate sale of other authentic Navajo items. There also appears to be some illegible ink writing on the underside, however we cannot make it out at all. Due to the extreme details in this double mudhead along with it\'s size makes this a very rare hard to find similar work of art.
