Neoclassical silver tea caddy. Made by Papus & Dautun in Lausanne, ca 1780. Rectilinear with concave corners. Short neck with snug-fitting cover. Engraved wave, pointille, and dentil ornament. Restrained and functional guaranteed to keep the precious leaves fresh. Hallmarked. Nice form and patina.
