ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a skull shaped mug from Bongo Fury. First premiered at Tiki Oasis 2013. Measures about 4\" tall x 4\" wide x 5.75\" deep. This one is brand new and never used, however, there are several small glaze skips (areas where the colored glaze did not completely cover the clay) inside of the mug. I have asked a couple of experienced mug makers about glaze skips. One maker said that he does not consider them a problem or reason that the mug should not be used for drinking. He suggested washing it out well after each use and letting it dry completely between uses. The second mug maker said that she wouldn’t suggest using the mug for drinking because \"I’ve been told that water absorbing into those areas can also make the glaze unstable where in the future it could “flake” off making the defect larger\". Whether you decide to use this mug for drinking or just to display on your mug shelf, this is a beautiful mug that looks and displays just great!
