VINTAGE (1997) NEW BRIGHT HOLIDAY EXPRESS ANIMATED TRAIN SET #980
Comes in original box which does show wear (having been moved around in storage, carefully, for so many years). This train set was assembled once when my son was 2 years old (he\'s now 16) and worked just fine. It has been in the box since, and has not been taken out to check on it. The tracks are situated in such a way behind the trains in the box that it is best left alone (according to my husband who really just doesn\'t want to pull it all out and put it all back again :). That is one reason why I am offering local pick-up only and have extended holiday returns until January 31st. This obviously makes it much easier for all concerned if any issues arise which I\'m keeping positive thoughts will not. :)
My father-in-law paid $199.99 + tax for this set back in 1997. I know Dad bought this for my son while I was pregnant with him (needless to say, many years followed of spoiling his grandson :).
The box states this set is for ages 10 and up.
