You will love his rosy cheeks, radiant complexion, and sweet, childlike expression. Flawlessly sculpted details abound, such as his chubby little hands and windswept hair. This little guy waits to find out if the grasshopper on his shoe is friend or foe. He was crafted by Goebel\'s skilled artisans of the same ceramic used for the Hummel figurines. Inspired by the artwork of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, he is hand-painted with selected colors , and dressed in hand-tailored Bavarian costume of Sister Hummel\'s time. This doll has been displayed stored in original box in smoke free home. He is in mint condition and will be shipped in the original packing and box. He comes complete with hand-tailored clothes, knit stockings, leather shoes, green porcelain grasshopper and Certificate of ownership #AA1026. On the back of his neck shows the word \"Goebel 1988\". He was hand-crafted in 1988 by artisans of W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Bavaria, West Germany. This was before the Berlin wall came down. Has been stored in my smoke free climate controlled home.
