Thisisa larger complex mouth blown work* with no damage to the applied fins or beautifulpedestal wave base.This design is approx.9 inchestall (30cm)and over 4 inches at it\'s widestgiving good weightand refraction of light.
Thisvintage piece is in new condition with no chips, no cracks, no nicks, no scratches, no damage to the finsand no display bottomwear.It is correctly signed \"Steuben\" in diamond point script on the base bottom. This piece is rarely found in this superb condition as it was often sold by Steuben as an ornament to grace very large serving bowls for seafood service at famous hotels etc., as such, when found these usually have chips and damage to the base or finsfrom folks poking their seafood forks at it. OUCH!! This was also sold individually as a decorative sculpture.

*this is a large hand made mouth blown design at approx. 4lbs., not a handcooler. Handcoolers were inexpensive mass produced pressed glass designs that were the least expensive Steuben works, at onlytwo to three inches in height with a weight of 8 ounces.Over the years, handcoolers were marketed in the $90-$250 price range with the hope that customerswould not leave the store empty handed andwould be enticed to later purchase the larger mouth blown works like the piece offered here.
