A very desirable broad 18k solid gold nib on this new Aurora Verdi fountain pen is a must for the collector. It comes in a green colorwood box lined in velvet with a small brochure and a music cd of Giuseppe Verdi\'s classical songs(this cd is used, however the pen is new and unused). The pen has European neoclassical old world design elementsof harps and laurel garland leafscrolls, which isvery typical of an era gone by. The filling system is a built in piston turning knob. There is a see through ink window above the grip section and also, the feeder on this particular pen ismade out of ebonite for better ink absorption and not the typical cheap plastic. Thank You!
