Dating from 1999, these were once for sale in a Salem Souvenir Shop. Sadly Sept 11, 2001 arrived, and the immediate decline in Tourism sealed it\'s fate.

I bought the remaining stock, and just this year decided to make some room in my attic.

These are really special. The quality is far above that of most souvenirs.

Handmade in China, in the manner of traditional cloisonne, they are heavy and beautiful.

They begin with a brass or copper base, onto which dozens (or hundreds) of tiny metal wires are formed and soldered on.

Much later ceramic frit is applied by brush, then fired in an oven to melt the ceramic into a glass. Some items require this to be completed many, many times.

Later polishing, and gold plating - with magnificent results.

The Witch Hat measures 2-3/8\" tall; the Broom 6-1/2\" long.

Both Hat and Broom are included in this sale. I have two pairs for sale, should you want more than one pair.

They come in very sturdy, original, gift quality boxes.

I\'m selling them now for less than the 1999 Retail - and I don\'t have to tell you with nearly two decades of inflation what they\'d have to sell for today !
