From a New Orleans estate, here is a Mardi Gras favor from the 2004 Rex ball - a gold tone brooch (can also be worn as a pendant) featuring a fishing hook and a shotgun shell, commissioned by a \"sportsman\"King to give as a special gift to his guests and friends. Executed by noted New Orleans Jeweler ADLER. No Box. No condition issues. Measures about 1 inch tall. These favors are never offered for sale to the general public and King/Queen favors are doubly rare - you have to be one of the lucky ladies at the (invitation only) ball to get one.
