Maki-e= One of the lacquer craft techniques. A technique for drawing pictures, patterns, letters, etc. with lacquer on the surface of lacquerware, and fixing metal powder such as gold or silver on the surface by scattering before it dries.

This fountain pen is made by Japanese traditional crafts.
