A leaf of early printing from a 1525 New Testament with commentary by St. Jerome entitled \'Novtestamenti totius editio longe optima\'. The leaf measures 132 x 86 mm. in totality with Thirty-six lines of Gothic style type printed single column in Latin. It is adorned with wonderful hand painted rubrication and initial letters in red and blue. The selection is from the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to Philemon. Printed in Kolon, Germany by E. Cervicornus for G. Hittorp.. Verso:contains the same amount of lines and style of type. The Condition of this leaf is less than fine [F-] due to a small missing section of the lower right margin.
