This is a New RareVintage Unused Unopened 50 centsPatriotic Millennium Flag Twin Towers Punchboard that was Made in the U.S.A. This punchboard was made for a short time (from 1998-2000) to commemorate and celebrate the new 2000 millennium (there are 2,000 punch holes).The dimensions of this punchboardare:18\" Height, 11\" Width, .5\" Thick.A metal punch tool is included on the back side of the punchboard which is sealed with a paper label (see picture with the label that is in red and white).The picture below this description is a scan of the advertising page in the Universal Mfg. Co. catalog from 1998 listing this punchboard.
This is an unique item of American history, noting the unusual irony that the New York Twin Towers are the centerpiece of the picture on the top front of the punchboard. One year after the last of these punchboards were made by the Universal Mfg. of Kansas City, the tragedy of the Twin Towersoccurredon September 11, 2001. Since there are only a few of these punchboards left in existence, it could becomea valuable collectible in years to come.
