Superb Victorian Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Card Case Made By Frederick Marson
Description - Nice rectangular solid silver card case with hinged lid, the card case has scroll borders with nice hand engravedsymmetrical and leaf decoration on both sides, both sides have a central cartouche one is blank and the other has theinscription \" Fort Singleton 6th April.1915\".
The card case is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the Queen\'s head, the date letter \"h\" for the year 1882 and the maker\'s \"F.M\"which is Frederick Marson.
Condition - There are dinks on the corners and a few dints around the sides. Other than that, the card case is in good order the engraving is nice and clear and the hinge is in good working order.
Dimensions & Weight - The card case is 9.9cm long x 7.2cm wide,the weight is 61.5 grams.
