DESCRIPTION: Nice WWI British canteen with wool cover. Scans show it all......Nice, smooth, clean wool cover. All stitching is complete. Original cork stopper with attachment cord is also there.

Has the usual curved center to help \"hug the hip\". In excellent condition overall, except possibly pushed in a little on the opposite side. Measures 9\" high x 5 1/2\" wide x 2 1/2\". Nice appearance, especially the wool and stitching.

I believe that they used the same style during WWII as well. However, I believe it is from WWI as I got it with a collection of WWI items.
