early arts & craftspewtersugar bowl,it would have been made in the art nouveaujugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf,kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter,thisbowl was made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range and is verymuch a piecedesigned by Archibald knox!!,it is in a polished condition with a small repair to one side and some loss of definition to the knox design,thebase carries the tudric stamp and design number 0375 so afairly early piece c1904,the mark is rubbed but legible,it is 100% authentic and as such is well overover 100 years old and has the signs of age and use as mentioned so being sold as isbut given its rarity still a worthwhile piece.if you require any further information,please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
