This is for anice decorative Georgian silver and mother of pearl etui from the late 1700s. It is fashioned from mother of pearl and silver and has a variety of pieces inside.As always the inside of the box is shaped to fit all the tools that are inside. Looking at the tools i would say arethe original with the possible exception of the scissors and definitely the pencil, the rest look to be original to the box, there is a particularly fine pair of tweezers with ear spoon,The etuiitself is in very good condition, there are no chips or cracks in the pearl, only natural markings, and there are no dents or splits or repairs...etc to the silver, it feels really nice and heavy in the hand and it displays beautifully. The tools have wear from use. The etuiis 97mm tall and it measures 44mm x 20mm at the top.
