Pair of shell casesfor German 77mm guns (manufactured in June 1915 and October 1917) embossed and cut to serve as a photo frame.Nice trenchart : one sleeve and dated 1914 and the second, 1919.
With two pictures of French soldiers of the 148th regiment of infantry. Maybe it\'s two brothers ? Have they died in war ? 1914 and 1919 are the years of their death ?
These photos were peeled off of their backing and maintained by newspaper. I reattached them, but you can replace them with other photos if you wish.
There is a small missing part and a crack on acase (see photo)
