I am moving from North America to the Caribbean Islands and I am unable to take all of my beautiful antiques collections with me and therefore I am saleing this Antique 19th C. Paul Pry 3 Compartment Brass Snuff Box

This Antique 19th C. Paul Pry 3 Compartment Brass Snuff Box was designed on the 1825 Paul Pry 3 Act Farce Play that was the most notable play written by 19th-century English playwright John Poole. It premiered in London on 13 September 1825[ at the Haymarket Theatre and ran 114 performances.[2] The play continued to be popular until the early 1870s. The Paul Pry image and the words have been Hallmarked into the back of the Snuff Box.

The Brass Paul Pry Snuff Box was constructed in curve to follow the shape of the user and has three compartments. The front of the Snuff Box is a smooth brass. to enter the Snuff box you must enter from the back. You enter the first compartment by lifting the Paul Pry just below the feet of the Image to reveal the first level compartment. By pulling or lifting the first lid, the case will reveal the second compartment. By pulling the first two compartments upward, the Snuff Box will reveal the third and final compartment. THIS IS A TRULY HISTORIC ANTIQUE SNUFF BOX. It is in great condition.

This Antique 19th C. Paul Pry 3 Compartment Brass Snuff Box measures approximately 65mm (2 1/2\") wide, 32mm high, 15mm deep and weighs 40.1g or 1.414oz..
