Hi Folks-during a recent early morning antique hunt the wife and I found this wonderful Northwest Coast carved Totem Pole....it had been tuckedaway in an old estate....suffered some damage to base and was not being displayed....SO....the wife said wouldn\'t that make a cool one of a kind necklace......the carving is outstanding..think its Haida but could be Tlingit, carved from antler with a great patina..the four Totems are quite detailed..(like his Barbeque Hat ; ) ..... Necklace...artist used stone and glass beads on fine bead wire andadded a toggle clasp,also addeda sueded cord tie to secure it even more...the necklace measures 12 inches from middle of back of neck to where it attaches to totem...( 24 inches long total ) the actual old carved Totem is 4 inches long ..final product gives you a wonderful piece of wearable art that is quite unique......
