We are offering to you a rare opportunity to own a stunning geometric chip carved wood picture frame.

This great antique piece came to us direct from a homestead attic in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia.

It was said to have been lovelingly carved by a great great Grandfather many years ago while he was off on the Ocean.

It has no hanging hardware on the back and looks like it was never hung on a wall.

It is about 12.5\" tall x 8.5\" wide at the widest point and the wood is about .5\" thick.

The cabinet card photo that is in it is about 4.25\" x 6.5\" and is named and dated 1892. Hard to say if photo and frame went together when first made.

The frame is in good shape with a lovely patina some chips on the edges, one point missing and a tight stress crack at the bottom as shown in the photos.

Antique Nova Scotia Folk Art at it\'s best and just an amazing piece.
