You\'re looking at a stereo card viewer/stand. It was Patented in 1874. This piece contains brass hardware. There is damage due to wear and age. There is a small split in wood on the base, lose nails underneath of viewer and it\'s missing a wire to hold card in place which can be seen in a few of the pictures. The dimensions of the piece are approx 13.5\" H diameter 5 3/8\" and width of card reader is 6 3/4\".
