OLD ANTIQUE VTG Ca 1890\'s UNION STOCK YARDS CHICAGO ADVERTISING GLASS PAPERWEIGHT
This offering is for an early circa 1890\'s Union Stock Yards Chicago advertising glass paperweight. The paperweight features an image of the cattle pens with men on horse back and horse drawn wagons. The image is titled at the top BUSY ALLEY UNION STOCK YARDS CHICAGO\". In the background can be seen large brick buildings that were highlighted with red coloring when the image was made. The paperweight is made of glass with the advertising inset into a recess in the back side. The weight measures app. 2 5/8\" by 4 1/8\" by 3/4\". There is some light wear and loss to the very edges of the backing around the image edge but nothing really distracting. Otherwise there are no chips, cracks or other damage and the paperweight displays beautifully. This great old Union Stock Yards advertising paperweight will make an excellent addition to someone\'s collection, shouldn\'t it be yours!!!
